The same karma, twelve rooms
Karma in Jyotish is circumstance and free will. The houses show where those circumstances sit.
The first house is body and the way you meet the world. The fourth is home, mother, and inner land. The seventh is the other person. The tenth is work that can be seen. A difficult graha in the tenth is not the same story as the same graha in the fourth. People say karma as if it were one lump. Jyotish sorts it by house.
Family, work, and the bond
Parents and household often run through the fourth, the ninth, and the lagna lord. Children through the fifth.
Partnership through the seventh and Venus. Career through the tenth and the Sun. Loss, debt, and other people's money through the eighth and twelfth. None of those houses is a punishment wing. They are parts of life. A reading names which part is active, then the dasha that is turning that part toward you now.
Repeating themes are a house speaking again
When the same trouble returns in a new decade, look at the house, its lord, and whether a related dasha or gochara has come back.
That is more useful than calling the repeat bad luck. It is also more useful than blame. The kundli describes a tendency. You remain the one who lives the year. Online talk that treats house eight as doom has not read a whole chart.
